Genghis Khan Mongolian Bar-b-q

A "family" run business that's very clean on the inside despite it's old, outside appearance. It's essentially a hibachi style grill. Not exactly an expansive selection of vegetables (no mushrooms or baby corn...) and overall, I felt limited in the outcome of my created dishes. The staff is indeed super friendly. Other customers seemed to enjoy this place too.

The last time I was here was 15 years ago. That was back in the pre-Yelp days, so that's why I have not written a review. Today, it's pretty much the same as I remember. Service can be a bit curt sometimes but the all-you-can-eat order is exactly the same for everyone and they know what they're doing. This is a create-your-own-bowl place, where you pick the ingredients and the cooks fry it on the large circular griddle. For an all-you-can-eat place that has been in business for decades, prices are still quite reasonable -- cheaper than every Chinese buffet I know of. They have a good variety of veggies, meats, and sauces. They also have a not large but nice selection of desserts too. Genghis Khan, it's been a good revisit. Hopefully my next visit will be in less than 15 years.

This place was great. The food was excellent and for the most part the staff was very nice. I'm pretty stern with my ratings so a place has to go quite above and beyond to get 5 stars. If you like Mongolian this is probably the best in the area.
